Ardahlia is a NASM Certified Wellness Coach and a passionate advocate for personal growth, bringing her extensive leadership skills to The Butterfly Effect Studio as our dedicated wellness coach. A proud mother to one son and grandmother to one grandson, she recently moved from the DMV to the beautiful Delaware beaches. Dale enjoys reading and taking long walks through the national parks of this great nation, always finding inspiration in nature and new beginnings. She’s committed to empowering others through transformative fitness experiences, and believes every step forward—no matter how small—is a victory worth celebrating.
Meet Lashawn Hillman, Manager of The Butterfly Effect Studio, where she brings 13 years of fitness management expertise and 10 years of coaching experience to guide our community toward transformative wellness.
Lashawn's philosophy centers on balance—nurturing the spirit, sharpening the mind, and strengthening the body. She creates workouts that are effective, engaging, and sustainable, ensuring clients reach their goals while genuinely enjoying the journey. Her greatest strength lies in motivating and connecting with clients, understanding their unique needs, and making fitness both rewarding and fun.
As a manager and trainer, Lashawn cultivates a supportive, energetic environment where clients feel empowered to push their limits safely and confidently. She believes true wellness extends beyond the gym, creating lasting results that enhance every aspect of life.
A devoted wife and mother of four, Lashawn understands the importance of balance firsthand. She cherishes time with her family and exploring new destinations through travel.

Meet Alexandra "Alex" Hemelt, our dedicated trainer-in-training who brings scientific expertise and genuine passion to The Butterfly Effect Studio.
Alex earned her Bachelor of Science in Wildlife Conservation from the University of Delaware, where she developed a deep understanding of biology and behavior—knowledge she now applies to helping clients achieve their wellness goals.
When she's not in the studio, Alex is a devoted animal enthusiast who shares her home with five snakes, seven lizards, five schools of fish, and a beloved tortoise named Theo. Her patience and attention to detail in caring for these creatures translate beautifully into her individualized training approach.
Alex finds balance through quality time with family, gaming, and exploring nature trails. Her scientific background, combined with her empathetic nature and commitment to growth, makes her an invaluable team member ready to guide you toward transformation with science-backed strategies and heartfelt encouragement.
Meet Jill, our newest trainer-in-training who brings a naturalistic, grounded perspective to The Butterfly Effect Studio.
Jill is working towards a Bachelor of Science in Wildlife Ecology and a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology at the University of Delaware, and comes from a family of yoga instructors and outdoor enthusiasts.
When she's not in school or the studio, Jill is focused on the fine arts, animals, and adventures in the great outdoors. She's often drawing, writing, hanging out with her pets, fishing, or out exploring on hiking paths or 4x4 trails. Through these pursuits she gained a drive towards understanding and gaining a healthy body and mind- you can't go on many adventures without those!
Her passions for nature and culture make Jill a valuable asset to the Studio, where she encourages clients to pursue their own balance in life and explore all that they can. She looks forward to meeting you and helping you on the path to life's adventures.
Destini is a proud recent graduate of Delaware State University, where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Public Health. She’s passionate about personal growth and building a sense of community. Outside of her professional interests, Destini loves spending quality time with her family, staying active with workouts, shopping, and enjoying outdoor adventures with her dog, Milo. She’s known for her positive energy and dedication to wellness, always aiming to uplift and inspire those around her.
